In Celebrating La Fusa, singer Carme Canela and guitarist Jurandir Dã Silva revisit the landmark album Vinicius de Moraes en La Fusa, recorded in Buenos Aires in 1970 with Maria Creuza and Toquinho. Their repertoire includes songs such as Lamento no Morro, Samba em Prelúdio, Eu Sei que Vou te Amar and Garota de Ipanema.

Canela, one of Spain’s most acclaimed jazz voices, and Dã Silva, a guitarist, composer and music researcher from Salvador da Bahia, present an intimate performance for voice and guitar. Their arrangements incorporate ijexá, the atmosphere of samba de roda and the influence of jazz, preserving the naturalness and emotion of the original work through a fresh and personal perspective.
