Julio Du Norte is a Brazilian vinyl selector and DJ from Tucuruí, in the state of Pará, now based in Valencia. Since 2014, his sets have explored street culture, peripheral rhythms and the sounds of northern Brazil. After arriving in Spain with his record collection, he joined Coletivo Retropico and launched the projects Brasil em Vinil and Forró Vinil València.

In El vinilo en la música brasileña, he offers an analogue journey through Brazil’s musical diversity, bringing together rhythms, voices and recordings from different periods and regions. The presentation approaches vinyl as a medium for listening, memory and cultural exchange.
