Projeto Brasileiro Vol. II opens a new chapter in the musical project created by Canarian double bassist and producer Tomás LP Cruz through his close connection with Brazilian culture and music. Released in 2011, its first volume brought together more than forty artists, including Milton Nascimento, Joyce, Danilo Caymmi and Roberto Menescal, and was nominated for Best International Album at the Cubadisco Awards.

This talk and listening session will explore the creative and production process behind the new recording, developed between the Canary Islands and Brazil, while sharing a selection of its songs with the audience. An intimate opportunity to discover how Brazilian roots engage with contemporary musical languages and the artistic perspective of the archipelago.
