Biographies

Zé Renato — Singer, songwriter, and co-founder of the historic vocal group Boca Livre. With Pasieros (alongside Rubén Blades) he won the 2023 Grammy for Best Latin Pop Album. His solo career spans 20+ records and collaborations with major MPB figures.

Silvério Pontes — A key trumpeter in Brazilian choro and one half of the celebrated duo Zé da Velha & Silvério Pontes. His path runs from traditional rodas to international stages, always serving the roots repertoire.

Antônio Guerra — Rio-born pianist, composer, and arranger (UNIRio). His work for ensembles and albums such as Coração Brasileiro and Rabo de Arraia blend melodic lyricism with harmonic sophistication.
