With more than ten solo albums and over sixty collaborations with other artists, she has become one of the most prominent female voices in Brazilian music over the past decades.

Salmaso’s musical projects have been enriched by collaborations with renowned figures from Brazilian folklore, including Guinga, a virtuoso guitarist from Madureira, one of Rio de Janeiro’s working-class neighborhoods.
