Gabriel Grossi – Antonio Guerra – Silverio Pontes

24/10/2025 – Teatro Leal – La Laguna, Tenerife
The Teatro Leal hosts an exceptional evening of Brazilian instrumental music with Duo Coração Brasileiro – trumpeter Silvério Pontes and pianist Antonio Guerra – who, on this occasion, invite the virtuoso harmonica player Gabriel Grossi, regarded as one of the greatest in the world.
Born from the album Coração Brasileiro (Kuarup), this project brings together two generations of Brazilian music in an unusual formation – trumpet and piano – to explore the vast universe of choro, samba, popular music, and the traditional cancioneiro, with arrangements rich in melody, harmony, and rhythm.
The repertoire includes works by Pixinguinha, Radamés Gnattali, João Bosco & Chico Buarque, Guinga, as well as original compositions by Pontes and Guerra. The artistic connection between the two has been forged on stages across Brazil, Europe, and Asia, now enhanced by the energy and creativity of Gabriel Grossi – three-time Latin Grammy finalist, with over 700 recordings and collaborations with legends such as Hermeto Pascoal, Milton Nascimento, and Snarky Puppy.
