ANGELA VELLOSO

Angela Velloso is a singer, songwriter, arranger, producer, and music educator born in Salvador, Bahia. She holds a degree in Voice and Composition from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) —where she was admitted in first place— and studied jazz and improvisation through an exchange program at the Musikhochschule Mannheim (Germany). Her artistic path is defined by experimentation, versatility, creative freedom, and a vocal approach that treats the voice as an instrument equal to all others.
Influenced by her father, musician Duarte Velloso, she began her career at the age of 15 and has performed on numerous stages as part of various projects. To date, she has released three albums, two EPs, and five singles.
At just 26 years old, she is building a multifaceted career and has already shared the stage with major Brazilian and international artists such as Lazzo Matumbi, Daniela Mercury, Mariene de Castro, Xênia França, Vanessa Moreno, Tatiana Parra, Camille Bertault, Mãeana, Moreno Veloso, Bem Gil, and Felipe Pezzoni.
