Pedro Rosa
Pedro Rosa makes music to surprise, to caress, to bring a message of hope, awareness and affection. To honour his roots and influences, to celebrate and expand his culture. His greatest desire in life is to share his creative essence and help people through music. He believes that when we are authentic in our songwriting and in the expression of that authenticity, we create a very interesting, very revealing and healing bridge for both the audience and the artist. A real catharsis. Feel through the energy, the vibration, the frequencies. And it’s also his favourite way of getting in tune with the natural process of the universe: movement.
Who came first, the human or the music?
Midnight Dawn is an invitation to see with each other’s eyes, hear with each other’s ears. Above all, feel with each other’s hearts. A great bridge has been built between two friends, separated in time and space, but united in values and purpose: to overcome the boundaries of the ego. Now this bridge reaches you. Meia-Noite Alvorada was born out of a process of deep empathic immersion by the authors Pedro Rosa and Rafael Mourão. The listener is thus invited to make their own immersion, called to feel and expose their fragility, as the composers of this album did. This album is a manifesto of the “I”, which seeks to be “we”. It is therefore a shared contemplation of human contradictions and universal antagonisms. A realisation that love, which is healing, is within us and that this energy must be shared in order for it to be full.
