El Especialista, Manel Ruiz, a catalan based in the Canary Islands, a classic on the airwaves, with more than 20 years at the decks, a regular on the dancefloors, festivals on the islands and the mainland.

He began his career in Brazilian music in the framework of WOMAD Canarias, years later, with the help of DJ and presenter Rodolfo Poveda, Trópico Utópico of Radio3, Manel Ruiz El Especialista would become part of the line-up of Tensamba, in its 2008 edition.

Now, on its 21st anniversary, Tensamba brings back this lover of Brazilian rhythms in all their breadth, with a session full of rhythm and attitude, without losing elegance or good groove.
